Anindilyakwa Housing Aboriginal Corporation

Saltwater People worked with the Anindilyakwa Housing Aboriginal Corporation (AHAC) to create a meaningful brand and accessible website for the residents of Groote Eylandt. The purpose of the brand and website is to increase engagement and transparency for Anindilyakwa people and community-owned housing across the Groote Archipelago.

Saltwater People developed a culturally meaningful visual identity, working with Alice Durilla and Alfred Lalara’s exquisite dash paintings. The new brand was then reflected across a responsive and mobile-friendly site for a remote setting with limited internet infrastructure. The visual hierarchy and UX promote ease of use and accessibility.

Additional communications products, including a service map and an Annual Report, have been developed with the client.
