Saltwater People worked with SLQ and the black&write! team to create the exhibition design and visual identity that celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander writers and the 10 yr Anniversary of the black&write! Program.

Kambarni (Kam Bin Salleh) created the central artwork, telling the story of First Nation’s sovereignty of Australia. Design Lead, Hon delivered a warm and engaging visual identity for large-scale exhibition assets and digital assets for online engagement. A collaborative team of artists, designers and photographers created work for the khuril dhagun exhibition space, at the State Library of Queensland on Meanjin (Brisbane).

Arabana woman, Colleen Raven Strangways (Nharla Photography) and Claudine Thornton (from Ngyiampaa Wongaibon Country) delivered striking portraits of authors and their personal spaces for writing.
