Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility

Saltwater People worked with the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF) to create a visual identity that reflects the Northern Australia region and its Traditional Owners. We worked with well-known artist and cultural practitioner Bernie Singleton who illustrated the relationship between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their nations, from an Umpila, Dajabugay and Yirrgay perspective.

Using Bernie’s artwork as the centrepiece, we created a bold visual identity and style guide to create a visually accessible and well designed Reconciliation Action Plan. This resulted in a clear, concise layout that reflects a culturally capable organisation ready to begin the long and critical journey of reconciliation.
